Didn't need to add more than like 1 inch at most to it, since it is urethane and bends. Also, most of the shape of the rear bumper can be determined by the structure behind it, which is already built and off the the left on the floor of the car, so once they put that on, it will flare out at the top, and gradually curve inwards like how the rest of the sides do. I've never liked anything after market in that area
